Welcome to Spectrum News! “20 years ago…”

Spectrum Self-Advocates Meeting

On May 19th, from 7 – 9 p.m., in our board room at the office, Barb Goode, a well known self-advocate, will be our guest speaker discussing 1) what does self-advocacy mean? 2) what are your rights and responsibilities? 3) would spectrum’s self-advocates like to get together regularly? Monthly? If so, what would they like to do together? have guest speakers come in? Talk to Spectrum leaders? Organize social events with some support available to do things with each other? Would it be okay to open it up to other non-Spectrum folks? Refreshments will be provided.
