We hope that all of our folks, our team members, the families we get to be part of and all those who support us have an excellent day of fun to start off their summers. We’ve had a great month, relaxing a bit post-accreditation, traveling to BCACL where Ernie was involved in interesting conversations about innovation in BC and also spent some time representing community councils (one of the means by which CLBC gets information from it’s stakeholders), Susan and I did a great workshop for mostly self-advocates who were amazingly knowledgeable and interesting, and Judy went from workshop to workshop taking notes and meeting new people.
This summer we’re very excited to be organizing our first event, a day with David Pitonyak. Well, it’s actually a couple of days. He will be coming to work with our leadership team on August 19th and then will be the presenter on August 20th, which is open to the public, where he’ll be talking about relationships.
